A couple of weeks from now, on Saturday 16th November, the junior cricket section are going to try and make a sizeable dent in the fundraiser for the new nets project.
Their challenge is to run a combined 100 miles, a total of 200 laps of the Athletic Field. The Andrew Graveson inspired twist is that they’ll be doing it in their full batting kit.
We’ve lined up boys and girls from U9 to U15 to take part in the challenge. The hope is that all of you in the senior club can help them out by sponsoring them – we’ve set up a Gofundme page for the event and every penny will go to the nets project. It’s a transformational project for the club and if you can help in any way we’d be really grateful. And of course if you can head to the club and cheer them on that would be great too.
We’re running from 2pm on the 16th.
Thanks for any support you can offer
